"There are a million real estate agents out there and it is hard to find a good one. Most are going to run through the usual channels, go by the playbook and hope for the best. A first-time homebuyer with only 3% to put down on an investment property in a competitive market like Portland is not going to get very far without some out-of-the-box thinking and some good old fashioned detective work to find the hidden deals that DO exist (in any market condition).
